Jan 26: The meeting of the Mayor and Council has been cancelled tonight due to the weather. Please note the new meeting date will be Wednesday, January 28 at 4:00 PM.
Jan. 26: Due to the snow, all garbage collection for Tuesday has been suspended. Please do not put trash to the curb until your next regularly scheduled pick up.

Updating to increase snow totals for eastern NJ:
For the Neptune area, Monmouth, Ocean, Middlesex and the northern NJ counties that border New York City including NYC - 16 to 24 inches
Remainder of interior northern and central NJ and southeast NJ coast - 10 to 18 inches
Southwest corner of NJ including Philadelphia - 7 to 14 inches
All other aspects of the forecast from this morning remain the same. To reiterate, light snow for much of the day on Monday with minor accumulations. Heavy snow starts around 8pm or so Monday night. The 12 hour period from 8pm Monday night to 8am on Tuesday will be the worst of the storm with heavy snow and extreme blowing and drifting.
Wind gust to near 60 mph Monday night and early Tuesday.
Snow off and on throughout the day on Tuesday and may continue into Tuesday night.
There will be a period from midnight Monday night to Tuesday morning where venturing outside will be life threatening.
Jan. 12: Girl Scout Troop 719 is collecting clean, gently warn coats from Jan 12 - Jan 26. Collection boxes are located at Borough Hall and the Community Center.

Nov. 21: In the event of snow, please remember to remove all vehicles from the street so the plows may property clear them. All residents are required to remove snow and ice from their sidewalks within 24 hours. In the case of ice which may be so frozen to make removal impracticable it should be thoroughly covered with sand or salt. As always, you should not shovel or throw any snow or ice into the street. By Ordinance 2014-3.
